In support of Earth Hour 2020, we’ve turned off our lights. Earth hour started in 2007 with millions of people in more than 180 countries turning off their lights to show support for our planet. More than a decade later, the climate crisis remains and we’re seeing an unprecedented rate of biodiversity loss and inaction from governments, businesses and individuals across the globe. Earth Hour has taken place every year since 2007 as a symbolic lights out event and has also become a catalyst for positive environmental impact, driving major legislative changes by harnessing the power of the people and collective action. This year, we’re supporting Earth Hour and joining millions of people, businesses and organisations to demand world leaders and other decision-makers around the globe to represent the planets and our best interests. “The need to unite and protect our planet has never been greater – join us wherever you are to act and care for the one home we all share”. ~Earth Hour 2020 What are we doing beyond this hour?
