Hibiscus™ Satin Matte Lipstick

Beautiful color in summer!

I love all the Ethique lipstick, they last for ever!

I LOVE that Ethique use cardbard tubes. This makes my love of lipstick feel so much better ( for our environment). Hibiscus is a delightful colour- kind of tangerine, kind of red... Whatever you call it- IT ROCKS.

Why did I not know about this lipstick before??? - I love it! The colour is perfect and had good pigmentation saturation so stays put all evening, despite drinking & socialising. It's got a smooth texture that goes on easily and builds to even greater depth. It's a satin finish which I think helps the colour stay where you put it. I also love that the tube is compostable when you're done. My only slight criticism is that the angle of the new bullet is a bit shallow so when I applied the sharp top edge to outline my lips, the lower edge caught on my teeth (not a big issue, just saying so you'll know).

I love everything about this lippy. Amazing colour with an interesting sheen. Good staying power. I put some Ethique lip balm on 1st because it's a matte texture. I will probably keep buying this colour and try others.

I've used this a couple of times and I love it. It's really moisturising and lasts really well. The colour on my lips is true to the image of the lipstick online. I applied it quite gently as I wasn't sure what it would look like so I think the colour could be made more intense, but it also seems like the tube will last a while as it doesnt need reapplying often. I bought the Poppy ond to which I havent tried yet but I'm guessing that's going to be quite bold.
