Like our lip balms, our luxurious lipsticks feature organic and fairly traded moringa oil, which is packed with antioxidants and vitamins to nourish lips. My first impressions were wrong!

I bought this lipstick over a year ago. It was my first and only time purchasing an Ethique lipstick and I honestly didn't like it when I first tried it. It felt too dry and I wasn't in love with the color. But then this past halloween, this was the perfect nude but slightly coral color to use for my 60s mod costume. I had to use a regular lip balm on my lips first to help the lipstick spread evenly, but once it was on I loved the way it looked and felt. I'm now in the mood to wear it more on a daily basis.

Great shade

I love the shade of this lipstick and how it doubles as a cheek blush. Have bought a second one as a gift for my aunt, which she likes a lot.

Disappointed

The texture was thick but not at all moisturizing and the color was a weird orange and not at all what I expected. I have used much better lipsticks for half the price

If you're finding your Lipstick to be a bit on the dry side, I would recommend holding the Lipstick to the surface of your lips for a couple of seconds before applying to your lips. Sometimes the Lipsticks can be a bit dry depending on the temperature they are stored in, although they should warm up after a few seconds of being in contact with skin. 😊 Another tip is you could try using a lip balm first, and then apply the Lipstick - you should then get a smoother application that glides on.

We understand how tricky it can be to pick the right shade online and even though we have our super awesome 'find your shade' feature on our website, sometimes other factors like the natural shade of our lips and the undertones of our skin can alter how the colour looks on application.

Please know that we do have our product guarantee for situations like these, and because you weren't a big fan of the colour, I would be more than happy to arrange a replacement Lipstick for you! Nice colour but dry texture

Really like the colour but find the texture dry and quite unplesant on its own. It drags and clumps if you have a little bit of dry skin. When some lip balm is put on before the lipstick it's great, but would be nice to have a softer texture to the lipstick itself, and not have to use two products. I don't wear a lot of make up so am a little concerned that it will dry up even more before I use it all. That said I'm glad I gave it a try and I'd like to see a purple shade in future.
