Nourishing Conditioner Bar for Dry Hair: The Guardian™

This conditioner smells good (like lime) but isn't super strong. It's gentle and feels nice, but if you use too much it can leave hair feeling a bit waxy. Overall, it does a good job of nourishing hair and leaving it soft without weighing it down too much.

I’ve found the Curliosity bar to be the best conditioner and most moisturising and soft once dry, but The Guardian is a good all-round conditioner and it feels more silky during the wash than Wonderbar. The Guardian only feels amazing whilst you’re rinsing it out and it’s all silky feeling. Once dry it’s less impressive and that silky feeling doesn’t last.

I decided to try bars as I was traveling outside the US for the first time. I got a few things and before I went I wanted to be sure that they worked. I used this one at home. I washed with the pink shampoo and used this for conditioner. Sometimes I put it in and rinse as you would but others I finish and while my hair is dripping I run it through and leave a little in. It does not weigh my hair down. Makes it easy to comb. Oh and the mini has lasted past the 15 uses. My hair is just past shoulder length

I have never found a conditioner nourishing enough for my hair. I have long (about waist length) hair and I feel like it’s always dry at the ends and soaks in the products really quickly. This conditioner was good but I am going to try a more nourishing one from ethique once finished to see if I can find something better. This was really easy to apply though!

My hair is dry year round but especially in winter and this helped to make my hair less frizzy and static-y.

I still prefer the Wonderbar for getting knots out but if your hair isn’t super long and knotty like mine then this conditioner would work great.
