Coconut (natural fragrance) is of course, derived from coconut. We use it for its delicious, warm, coconutty fragrance. Natural fragrances are not essential oils, nor are they synthetic fragrances. They are made in a lab, but they are made using only natural ingredients, from the plant of origin (coconut in this case) to make an oil that smells like we expect it to. There is no such thing as coconut essential oil and coconut oil unfortunately doesn't smell quite strong enough when used in shampoo and conditioner for us to get away without using a scent.
