You may notice that our concentrated powders now have slightly different packaging: a little bag which sits inside our home-compostable box. A complexity of using a home-compostable box is that they can be very fragile, and we want to ensure that these concentrates arrive to you safe, secure, and ready to mix! Of course, the little bags inside are compostable, biodegradable, and made from a renewable plant source. Depending on your region, the packaging you receive may vary as we transition to include the clever little bags. 1. Pour entire contents of box into a heat-proof jug.
2. Add 300ml (10.14 fl. oz.) of just-boiled water (trust us on this one... make sure it’s just-boiled) and gently stir with a fork until the powder has dissolved. Now don’t go too wild on the stirring, unless you want to have a whole lot of foam you need to clean up, that is.
3. Allow to cool slightly, then pour into a bottle you already own and pop a label on it. Shake a few times whilst cooling.
4. Once made, use your liquid bodywash or handwash at home within six months.

Massage already mixed lotion concentrate generously into skin, paying attention to those rough or dry areas in need of some extra TLC. Use directly after showering on damp skin for extra nourishment.

Use any plastic or aluminum container – it’s best to choose something that is shatter-proof. Even better if it has a pump to make washing a little easier.

Yay!

LOVELY handwash, and plastic free!

I enjoyed making this, felt like a little scientist in my kitchen teehee.

Honestly it's really easy to make, you just need a whisk. 10/10 will buy again.

Keep Coming Back

I love this product! It's very easy to make up, and my household appreciates using a liquid handwash vs. bars. I prefer to add a little extra water to dilute the consistency a bit (only 20-50 mL more than directed), but that's personal preference.

Lovely stuff

A much better consistency than any other plastic-free liquid hand soap I have tried, and a nice comforting scent. It's really not hard to make it up.

Softer Hands

I found this Nourishing Hand Wash easy to prepare. No nasty plastic bottles any more and my hands are already feeling smoother and softer after just a couple of weeks of use. I will definitely be repurchasing when I run out

Annoying process

Oof I so wanted to like this after an annoying experience with the concentrate powder’s predecessor. I do like the powder much more - dissolves so much better. But still didn’t dissolve completely. I recommend separating out those lumps prior to pouring in water. Stirring the water caused it to froth up and now the froth won’t go away and takes up some space in the containers I’ve poured the soap into. Oh well. Not sure if I’ll buy again. It was a hassle to make. The resulting soap very much feels like soap though and smells great.
